DIRECTIONS TO THE HARALSON COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER
The Haralson County Animal Control and Shelter is located at 1795 Macedonia Church Rd. in rural Buchanan, Georgia 30113.

If you are coming from Atlanta on I-20 west or from Alabama on I-20 east, follow the interstate until you reach the "Bremen" exit #11.  You will then be on Hwy 27 north. Follow Hwy 27 for about 7-8 miles until you see Business 27 on your left.  It will be the road immediately before the railroad crossing.  (If you cross over the railroad tracks, you've missed your turn.)  Go about 1/4 mile on Business 27 until you see a very large black bull at that intersection.  Follow Macedonia Church Rd. until you see our shelter on the left.  (If you are coming from Carrollton, Ga, please follow directions from I-20 exit #11.)

If you are coming from Paulding County on Buchanan Hwy 120 west, follow Hwy 120 until you come into downtown Buchanan.  Look for the Courthouse, which is now the County Library.  Turn left at the library on Business 27 and go about a mile and look for the big black bull on your right.  There you will see the sign for Macedonia Church Rd.  Follow the road around until you come to our building on the left.

If you are coming from Polk County on Hwy 27 south, follow the Hwy until you see Business 27 on your right.  Follow it until you cross over Hwy 120 and go through downtown Buchanan.  Keep going until you see a big black bull on your right.  Turn next to the bull, which will be Macedonia Church Rd.  Follow the road around until you come to our building on the left.

If you are coming from Tallapoosa on Hwy 120 east, follow the Hwy until you get to downtown Buchanan and turn right at the old courthouse, (which is the library now).  You will be turning on Business 27.  Follow it until you see a big black bull on your right.  Turn next to the bull, which will be Macedonia Church Rd.  Follow the road until you see the shelter on the left.
